Teaching experience:

In total, the teaching experience is 3 years and includes following subjects: Biological chemistry; Basis of biotechnology, Immunobiotechnology, Biological and bioorganic chemistry (academic language is English)

 

Research interests:

· biochemical mechanisms of different disease development and progression as well as the search for new strategies for their prevention and treatment;

· biological activity of newly synthesized compounds;

· the medicinal use of natural products – compounds that are derived from natural sources such as plants, animals or micro-organisms.

 

Hands-on experience in experimental work:

All kinds of biochemical techniques: protein isolation and purification; polyclonal and monoclonal antibody production; gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE); all types of fluid chromatography; ELISA; western blot; spectrophotometric procedures; working with lab animals.
